Vintage Advertising Collectibles

It's fun to find old advertising collectibles, such as church fans, magazines full of old ads, interesting articles and fascinating photographs, old calendars, and other vintage collectibles that bring back memories of long ago. These kinds of items are often ignored by buyers at estate sales, and we occasionally find some real gems. It feels very gratifying to know that we have been able to add something unique to someone's collection, with an item that was probably going to be thrown away.

We've sold some very interesting World War I militaria ephemera, including a collection of artillery notes, taken by a soldier in training at Camp Pike, that are now in a military museum in Arkansas. Ephemera are any of the paper materials from any era that originally served a useful, rather than a decorative, purpose.

We're also selling our own collection of vintage comic books, many of which are first editions. This includes a large selection of Classic Comic Books. Most are in good to very good condition.

We're always looking for old board games, especially those with wooden pieces, that are still in good condition. We've been fortunate to find Pollyanna, Parchesi, Monopoly, and many other vintage board games in near mint condition. Occasionally we'll find a set of children's playing cards still in good shape, such as Go Fish or Uno. They're enjoyed both by families who set aside time for Family Night and by collectors.
