Our first computer was an Apple II+, bought in the late 1980's. It still works, but we've already sold almost all of the floppy disk software that we enjoyed using and learning with it. Every once in awhile we find old Apple 5 1/4 floppy disk software, so we're keeping the computer for now, so we can test the vintage disks out and be sure they are still working properly.
Sometimes we run across mint condition 5 1/4 floppy disk programs for Windows 3.1 as well.
We also have a large quantity of vintage computer magazines, most of which are in mint condition. So if you're interested in the old Commodore 64, or TRS80, or other computers from that era, we probably have magazines with articles about the computers and the software you collect.
Old sheet music and 8 track tapes are our focus in this collectible category. Our interests in 8 track tapes run to Rock & Roll, Gospel, Country and Western, with some Folk Music, Easy Listening, Jazz, and Blues thrown in for good measure. We even bought an old 8 track player and connected it to our stereo, so we could be sure all the tapes we put up for sale still play properly. We always check to be sure the felt pads on the 8 track tapes are in good condition, as well as the labels.
We haven't even begun to list any of the old piano sheet music and music series we have boxed up, so if there's something in particular you're looking for, we'll be glad to see if we have it. I started learning how to play the piano in the late 1940's, so some of this sheet music is very collectible.
